South Dearborn Triple Dual

Edited report from South Dearborn’s Lisa Otto-  South Dearborn started its wrestling season in a home triple dual.  The Knights finished 1-2 with a win against Tri (66-6), a loss to Greenfield Central (56-15) and a nail biter of a loss against North Posey (39-33).  The Knights were led by three wrestlers who went undefeated: senior Eli Otto (145), senior Dylan McGill (182) and junior Jackson Goodall (HWT).

An outstanding performance by the Knights was made against Tri where every wrestled match was a victory by fall.  Goodall and Otto again pinned their opponents in the Greenfield Central match and McGill won by major decision (15-8). The North Posey match was back and forth with Chase Emmert (220), Caleb Hughes (138) and Eli Otto (145) winning their matches by decision. McGill, Goodall and Colton Lane pinned their opponents.  Sophomore Corbin Cassidy (152), returning to wrestling after a couple years off, won a very exciting match with a pin against Greenfield Central.

We thank everyone from each schoool for contributions to the recaps.
