Rushville’s Mark Mathews- “Leading the Lions was Dylan Galusha going 4-0 on the day. Carter Newton, AJ Bousman, Lowell Joya, AJ Johnson, Marcus Vaughn and Ethan Bergen all had three wins. Braydon Spiker, Emerson Hornsby and Devin Richardson each had two wins, while Garrett Bergen, Austen Gerrian and Jacob Followell each had one win. Nic Jacobs and Cody Smith added a win each in JV action.  The Lions will be in action on Wednesday December 12th at home, as they take on the New Castle Trojans. Action begins at  pm. The Lions wrestling team will be doing a toy drive during that meet called Toys 4 Boys. The wrestling team asks you to bring a toy for an elementary aged boy.”

Batesville’s Curtis Miller- “Getting wins for the Bulldogs against a talented Centerville team were JT Linkel (145) and Josh Mobley (152) by pin. Against Greensburg, Alex Murphy (113) and Caleb Bischoff-Niese (126) won by forfiet.  Tyler Schaeffer (132), Jonah Chase (138), Linkel and Mobley won by pin while Jacob Weigel (160) and Axel Garcia (182) won 6-3 and 7-4 respectfully.
Against Connersville, Bischoff-Niese and Mobley picked up forfiets. Murphy, Schaeffer, Chase, Linkel and Garcia all recorded pins.  And in the final match against Rushvile, Chase, Linkel and Mobley all earned pins. Linkel and Mobley both were 4-0 on the day while Chase picked up three victories. Brandon Manning (195) also competed.”
