East Central’s win and Lawrenceburg’s win Thursday resulted in a 3-way share of the EIAC title along with Connersville.  All teams finished 6-1 in the conference.

Edited Greensburg recap and reported stats from coach June Rigney: Greensburg lost a hard fought conference match against East Central 3-2. We got off to a very sluggish start and made it tough on ourselves to get ahead. We did find some energy, enthusiasm and execution and battled, but we just didn’t have enough to capture the win.

Strong serving came from Abigail Hoeing who was 28-28 and Janae Comer was 17-17. At the net, Ella Chapman had 18 kills and Josie Nobbe had 12. Chapman also made her presence known putting down 8 blocks. Jenna Foster put up 19 assists. Hoeing and Nobbe were active defensively with 17 and 16 digs respectively. We finished 4-3 in the EIAC and 18-6 overall.
