Southwestern coach Chris Johnson: It was rough.  We started off slow in the first set but found our game and played well to end the first and continued into the second set.  But many things went wrong at the beginning of the third set and we could not pull ourselves out it.  Our energy levels sunk and we started off in a hole during the fourth set.  The girls did a great job of correct things in the fifth set.  I stepped away from the huddles in the fifth and allowed them to talk through things on their own and they really did a good job of getting things turned around and played a great fifth set.  Meaghan Kramer did a great job of getting to many passes that were difficult to set.  Marissa Naylor did a lot of defensive work that didn’t show up on the stat sheet but she performed well. Southwestern is currently 17-12.
