SW  25  25  25
SR  18  10  15

Win by Southwestern creates a 3-way tie for first in the ORVC between the Rebels, Rising Sun and Milan.  Each team has one conference match left.

Southwestern reported stats:

  • Kylie Eccles- 8 kills on 18 for 19 hitting and 7 aces on 20 for 21 serving
  • Meaghan Kramer- 5 kills on 9 for 9 attacking and 2 aces on 10 for 11 serving along with a perfect setting night with 20 assists
  • Elle Ford- 6 kills on 12 for 14 hitting and 1 ace on 12 for 12 serving
  • Autumn Harmon- 7 kills and 1 block

Southwestern coach Chris Johnson:  I thought we played well against a conference foe we really needed to beat. As a team, we committed very few errors so it was nice to see us play aggressively but also limit our unforced errors. We had a perfect serve reception night and we went 72 for 76 serving as a team.

I think Kylie Eccles did a great job leading our offense and serving game. Abby Fulton and Ashleigh Ream were very strong defensively. Meaghan Kramer ran our offense efficiently and did an excellent job of getting the ball to our hitters. Southwestern is currently 16-12.

South Ripley and JV information will be added when received.
