Connersville at Lawrence Central’s Kenny Randle Invitational

Unedited recap from Connersville’s Jeff Cooley-  The boys and girls track and field teams traveled to Lawrence Central for the Kenny Randle Invitational on Saturday. The girls finished 7th and the boys finished 6th. Molly Crank was 6th in the 100 hurdles and 6th in the 300 hurdles.The 4×100 team (Sudhoff Crank Soriano Seeley) was 5th.The 4×400 team (Crank Kleve, Seeley, Sembach) was 5th. Brooke Sudhoff was 4th in the pole vault.

For the boys Carter DeBoard was 7th in the 100 and 8th in the 200. Owen Baker was 8th in the 1600. Austin Wenta and Sean Brown were 7th and 8th in the 3200.The 4x 400 team of (Perez Isaacs Jones Hornsbey) were 4th The 4×800 team of ( Baker Perez Isaacs Greenwell) were 3rd. Lucas Barron was 4th in the high jump. Dustin McCarroll was 3rd in the discus.

Shawe at the Borden Invitational

Unedited recap from Shawe’s Amy McAllister-  7 athletes (2 girls and 5 boys) from the Shawe track and field participated in Bordens invitational this past Saturday.  The boys placed 5th out of 10 teams with Noah Guetig placing 5th overall for the boys. There were also a several new PRs hit! Noah placed 1st in the high hurdles, 3rd in the low hurdles and 3rd in the high jump. Sam Fewell placed 3rd in the 800 meter run and 5th in the 400 meter run. Wyatt Lundergan placed 5th in the long jump.

On the girls side they placed 8th out of 11 teams with Eliza Weston placing 11th overall for the girls
Eliza placed 2nd in both the 1600 and the 800.
