Franklin County Senior Profile- Brady Bogan

With the cancellation of the spring sports season, 12th grade spring sports athletes will not get to have their Senior Night.  We wanted to give those athletes a chance to share their Senior Night profiles typically read at such events.  While this can never replace Senior Night itself, at least we can help celebrate our local seniors by sharing their information with you.

Any spring sports senior who would like to have their Senior Night profile shared, please email it to and we will publish it under their spring sport.

Brady Bogan- Franklin County Boys Track

Parents– Mike and Terri Bogan.

Sports and other activities at FCHS- Track, football, basketball, FBLA and Bleacher Bums.

Post graduation plans- Attend Ball State University to pursue a degree in human resources and business management.

Favorite track memory- My favorite memory from track is a tough question to answer. All of the memories besides throwing up are good ones. If I had to choose one though, I think I would say winning conference in the 110m hurdles. The feelings and emotions I felt during and after that race are unmatched still to this day. The feeling of crossing the finish line and seeing your coach run full speed to the finish line to celebrate with you is a feeling I cannot even begin to explain.

What you will miss most from the season being cancelled- What I am going to miss the most are the big meets and invitationals. Something about competing against so many different schools at one time is what drew me to track in the first place. I loved being able to compete against so many individuals who all had the same goal as me, to win that race.

Thank yous- There are so many people I would like to thank who helped me get to the point I am at currently but, unfortunately, I cannot name them all. But to say a few I would like to thank include my parents for always making it to my games and for all the time they spent driving me to practices and games. I would also like to thank coach Davidson and the entire track coaching staff who consistently pushed me to be great not only in track but in every aspect of my life which I am forever grateful for. Also, I would like to thank Leah Rauch who helped me more than I could put into words, not only with injuries and prevention, but with life knowledge as well.

A message from FCHS track coach Joe Davidson- Brady has always taken so much pride in his team and his individual performance.  He was never too high on a performance but also never too low.  Brady has always been very level headed.  This right amount of confidence went a long way in leading his team.  Not to mention, Brady is in fact the greatest hurdler of all time in FCHS- the GHOAT if you will.  He holds all the hurdle records and is a conference hhamp.  On top of it all, he is a genuinely nice guy.  I will miss coaching Brady, but what I will miss more is the opportunities we had to just hang out with our teammates and talk about life.
