Rushville Senior Profile- Cole Dixon

With the cancellation of the spring sports season, 12th grade spring sports athletes will not get to have their Senior Night.  We wanted to give those athletes a chance to share their Senior Night profiles typically read at such events.  While this can never replace Senior Night itself, at least we can help celebrate our local seniors by sharing their information with you.

Any spring sports senior who would like to have their Senior Night profile shared, please email it to bryce@seilocalsports.com and we will publish it under their spring sport.

Cole Dixon- Rushville Boys Track

Parents/Guardians- Natasha Lutterbie and Matthew Lutterbie- stepdad and Christopher Dixon- dad

Track participation at RCHS- four years competing in the 3200m run and 4×800 relay and winning the 2019 sectional in both events.

Other sports and activities at RCHS- four years in cross country.

Post graduation plans- I plan on going into the Army.

Athlete’s comments- Track has been great. It sucks it ended like this but at least the team will be hungrier for a win next year.

Coach’s comments- Cole has had a tremendous running career at RCHS competing for four years in both track and cross country. He has put in the work to develop from a struggling runner (who started as a hurdler) into a sectional champion, regional and semi-state qualifier, and All-EIAC performer. Cole has committed to running and it has paid off for him in a big way. Additionally, he is a Captain, team leader and outstanding teammate. I am incredibly proud of Cole and it has been my pleasure to be his coach for the last four years.
