Rushville Senior Profile- Isabella Runnebohm

With the cancellation of the spring sports season, 12th grade spring sports athletes will not get to have their Senior Night.  We wanted to give those athletes a chance to share their Senior Night profiles typically read at such events.  While this can never replace Senior Night itself, at least we can help celebrate our local seniors by sharing their information with you.

Any spring sports senior who would like to have their Senior Night profile shared, please email it to bryce@seilocalsports.com and we will publish it under their spring sport.

Athlete’s comments- Even though my senior track season was cancelled, I just want to say high school is only four years of my life and I’m moving on to find my niche in society. I’m moving on to the next chapter of my life sooner than intended, but there are still many other great things to look forward to in life. Yes, I know it’s sad the fun senior things were taken away or put on hold, like prom, senior week, the varsity scholar’s trip, my senior track season and even senior skip day. With all this in mind, it is easy for me and my fellow seniors to be really sad and depressed about this whole thing; however, I decided to make this into an opportunity to learn from it and I hope others reading this do the same. Not once during high school did I ever think I would lose out on most of the fun senior activities. This just proves how much I took high school for granted and I assume I’m not the only one. Yes, high school is only four years which means there’s way more to do in the next chapters of your life; however, cherish the moments you do have with your friends and your teachers because you never know when you won’t ever see them again. I was expecting to say goodbye to my classmates at graduation or during the last week of school. There are classmates I will never see again and never had the chance to say goodbye to. So to all the underclassmen and future RCHS students, keep in mind not everything is guaranteed in life and never take your high school experiences for granted.

Coach’s comments- Bella had an excellent four-year track and field career as a thrower at RCHS. She has been a key contributor for the girls’ team since she was a freshman and has been very consistent. Bella genuinely enjoys throwing and has always worked hard to improve. She was off to a great start this season and was picking up where she left off at the end of last year.  Bella is a great leader and was always a strong mentor for the younger throwers. The skills she has demonstrated in four years of track will certainly help her achieve her future goals.
