Connersville and Rushville Girls compete at Greenfield-Central

Team Results: 1st-Franklin 61, 2nd-Roncalli 52, 3rd-Danville 42.50, 4th-Rushville 39, 5th-Greenwood 34, 5th-Greenfield-Central 34, 7th-Connersville 31, 8th-Frankton-14.50

The following is an unedited report from Rushville coach Hannah Augsburger:

For the field events, Charity Griffith took 1st in the high jump clearing a height 5’4” and Josie Wagner took 7th clearing a season-best height of 4’8. Charity Griffith jumped a distance of 15’11 taking 5th for the night. Tellas and Romero jumped distances of 13’9” and 12’8” placing 13th and 17th for the night. Annie Hadley cleared a height of 6ft in Pole Vault. Isabella Runnebohm threw a shot put a distance of 31’8” taking 9th. For shot put Kuhn and Grimme took 15th and 21st throwing distances of 28’10” and 23’5”. In the Discus field event, Runnebohm places 7th throwing a 91’3” and Kuhn threw 70’5” and Grinme threw 56’1”.

the 4x100m relay team of Heather Stanley, Lexi Morris, Ale Romero, and Cassidy Tellas finishes 7th with a time of 56.89. The 4x200m relay team of Charity Griffith, Shannon Dougherty, Lilly Krodel, and Maddi Turner finishes 2nd with a time of 1:52. The 4x400m relay team of Shannon Dougherty, Maddi Turner, Katie Yeend, and Lilly Krodel broke the school record substantially taking 2nd with a time of 4:18.81. The 4x800m relay team of Yeend, Shook, Corum, S.Stanley came in 6th with a time of 12:26.

In the 100m dash Tellas and Morris ran times of 14.84 & 15.04. In the 400m Shook and Corum ran times of 1:09 and 1:15.  In the 1600m Shook and Corum ran times of 7:01 and 7:20. In the 800m Dougherty took 4th running a time of 2:29 and Corum ran a time of 3:30. In the 300m Hurdles Turner and Krodel took 1st and 3rd with distances of 42.61 and 50.80. In the 100m Hurdles Turner and Krodel took 1st and 5th with times of 16.64 and 17.72.

The following is an unedited report from Connersville coach Jeff Cooley:

Top placers for the girls were Gabby Gonzalez 3rd in the 100. Brianna Thomas 8th in the 200.Tylissa Beckner 4th in the 1600 and 3rd in the 3200. The 4×100 team was 5th (Sudhoff Hoffman Gonzalez Thomas). The 4×800 team finished 1st (Arndt Bowling Smith Beckner). Elise Matney was 6th in the high jump. Brooke Sudhoff was 6th and Claire Kleve was 7th in the pole vault. Jessica Beckman was 4th in the shot and disc. Erika Smith was 7th in the shot. The girls competed hard against good competition.
