(VAR) South Dearborn 7, Richmond 6 (home)

Edited recap from South Dearborn’s Anna Eggleston- The Lady Knights had their first game since COVID-19 struck and cancelled their season in 2020. The Knights started strong in the first inning scoring 3 runs by Chayne Conley, Maddie Lewis and Emma Seaver. Alley Lunsford led the Knights in the circle.

After a close 7 inning game, the Knights found themselves in extra innings at a 6-6 tie. Kori Cornett led off the top of the 8th and was scored by Malyia Schnebelt. Alley Lunsford closed the game with a total of 8 strikeouts.

Key offensive players included Kori Cornett who went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI and Emma Seaver who was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.
