Rising Sun’s Bryce Kendrick:

Emma Levi had two base hits, two RBI, a stolen base and a run. Defensively, she threw out a runner at the plate from right field and nearly came up with two diving catches in foul ground.

Lindsay Montgomery doubled and homered with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Montgomery, Tyrrah Miller and Kassidy Romans all had 3 defensive assists. Romans singled twice and Miller singled once. Both players drove in a run. Abby Wallace had 2 ribbies with a single and Lucy Phelps singled twice.

Sydney Pitts pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts against 5 hits, 1 walk and 1 hit batter.

Jac-Cen-Del played very good defense and made quick work of our offense through the first 3 innings.  We started finding holes in the fourth to get things going.  The win completes an undefeated 12-0 conference championship season in the ORVC.

Hildenbrand had two hits for Jac-Cen-Del while Tunny, Cullen and Volz had one each.  Lewis recorded the team’s only RBI.
