Franklin County Senior Profile- Taylor McCreary

With the cancellation of the spring sports season, 12th grade spring sports athletes will not get to have their Senior Night.  We wanted to give those athletes a chance to share their Senior Night profiles typically read at such events.  While this can never replace Senior Night itself, at least we can help celebrate our local seniors by sharing their information with you.

Any spring sports senior who would like to have their Senior Night profile shared, please email it to bryce@seilocalsports.com and we will publish it under their spring sport.

Favorite sports memory-  While I have many moments under my belt, it is hard to say which is my favorite. One of the most memorable matches I had was against Centerville last year. I won in three sets and the team came from behind and won the overall match. In addition, I also enjoyed my sophomore year playing doubles with Maggie. We would always start off on the bottom end and go into a third set before winning the match. This made the matches exciting but nerve racking.

What you will miss most from the season being canceled-  The thing I am going to miss the most from this season is stepping on the court, being a competitive team and winning sectionals to make another appearance in regionals. I will also miss the jokes from the coaches, sleepovers with the team, brownies Ingermann made and the bus rides screaming High School Musical.

Thank yous- I would like to thank my coaches, Jeff Seibert and John Ingermann, for teaching me so much about the game and preparing me for all my matches.  I would also like to thank my parents for always supporting me as a player on and off the court.

A message from FCHS tennis coach Jeff Siebert- A tremendous competitor with great values on and off the court.  Her cooperation and leadership were invaluable to the team’s success.  Taylor converted from doubles to the number 2 singles player, finishing her varsity career with a 41-4 record.
