Championship- Bloomington South 1, South Dearborn 0

BS  1  0 – 1
SD  0  0 – 0

Bloomington South’s Lydia Wiley scored the game’s only goal in the first half on an assist by Nicole Hardy to win the Hoosier Cup.  Panther Keeper Arissa North made three saves from South Dearborn shots on goal.

SD coach Matola: The Lady Knights dropped their second game of the year in a close 1-0 battle in the final game for the Hoosier Cup.  SD could not bring the title home again this year. Taking on the 12th ranked Lady Panthers from Bloomington South, the Lady Knights gave them quite a scare late in the game, out-possessing them and getting some great looks at goal in the final 10 minutes. We could not find the equalizer.

We thank coach Matola and Bloomington South Girls Soccer via Twitter for the tournament info.
