Edited reports from coaches:

Switzerland County’s Natalie Wheeler:  It was a success! All smiles and no tears.  As a team, we placed third, only two strokes behind Shawe. Southwestern won.

We had two individuals named to the All-Conference Team. Hailey Hines placed fourth with a 98. Lily Williams placed sixth with a 111. Rori Ware came in with a 119. Brooklyn Flanders had a 123. Kenna Perkins had a 136.

Hailey had a new personal best on one of her 9-hole scores (48) and her 18-hole total. Rori had a new personal best on one of her 9-hole scores (57) and her 18-hole total. Lily tied her personal best for 9 holes (54) and had a personal best for 18 holes. Brooklyn had a new personal best on a 9-hole scores (60). Kenna was consistent on her round and had a 68 on both nines (a few off of her personal best).

So proud of all my girls! They have really worked hard this season. We have two new players (Brooklyn and Kenna) and they have truly completed our team.  We will lose Rori after the season because she will be moving. We try not to talk about this as a group yet. It’s going to be hard. She will be missed on the course and just having her around. I tell her that her laughter and giggles are contagious. A coach couldn’t ask for a better group of girls!

Jac-Cen-Del’s Jason Walke: Jac-Cen-Del only had one golfer participate in the ORVC Conference meet. Tracy McKittrick made the most of her opportunity playing in the 18-hole event by placing fifth overall with a career 18-hole best of 101. This earned her a spot on the All-Conference team. Southwestern-Hanover took top team honors with a score of 405.

We thank everyone from each school who contributed to this report.
