The Milan Indians capped a 7-2 regular season with a 54-0 shutout at Switzerland County.

Tribe quarterback Parker Lewis accounted for four touchdowns.  He threw for three on 8 of 13 passing for 133 yards and rushed for one more on 7 carries for 64 yards.

Two touchdown receptions were hauled in by Peyton Wert (6/97yds) and Carson Ascherman (1/26yds). Both Logan Reed and Cole Steele had a rushing TD.

Steele almost had two rushing touchdowns.  He fumbled the ball near the goal line and then recovered it in the end zone for a score.

As part of the Milan defensive shutout effort, Adam Norman and Tim Jutzi each intercepted a pass.

Milan outgained Switzerland County 366 to 138 in total offense.  The Indians had 20 first downs to the Pacers four.

Switz QB Damion Courter was 9 for 25 passing for 139 yards.  Lucas Hutchison collected three receptions for 78 yards and Hunter Records caught three balls for 46.

Switzerland County coach Ryan Jesop: The kids fought as hard as they could, but were overmatched by a very physical Milan team. Offensive execution at nearly every position has stifled any chance we have at moving the ball. We are improving internally on leadership and culture which will eventually make these late season games much more competitive.
