Edited Rushville recap from coach Hollis Heuer: We had a few goals in mind for this season and one of them was to gain all-conference honors at the EIAC tournament. We had a good first round advancing in four out of five divisions.

In the #1 singles final, Rushville’s Marlin Hershberger was awarded the All-Conference Runner Up medal after losing 4-6, 1-6 to tournament MVP Jack Stirn of Franklin County.  Lion Sam Smith is All-Conference Champion at #2 singles after defeating Batesville’s Jaden Smith 6-4, 6-0 in the final. At #3 singles, Rushville’s Cameron Jackman won All-Conference Champion honors in a close one. Jackman and Connersville’s James Williams split the first two sets forcing a super tie breaker to decide their match. After saving two match points along the way, Jackman got the title in dramatic fashion hanging on to win 13-11.
