Jac-Cen-Del 68, Hauser 61; JV Eagles 51-50

Boys Varsity Basketball at Hauser- Friday, February 8

Jac-Cen-Del 68, Hauser 61

After a high scoring first quarter Friday where Jac-Cen-Del trailed host Hauser 26-19, the Eagles turned things around in period two, outscoring the Jets 24-7 to take a 43-33 lead at half.   Hauser did cut the deficit down to two by the end of the third and trailed by only one with just under a minute to go. But Jac closed out the final 55 seconds on an 8-2 run to win at The Hangar 68-61.

The Eagles were keyed by 3-point shooting making 7 of 19 for 37 percent while the Jets made just 2 of 16 for 13 percent.  Justin Ohlmansiek of JCD had four triples and 18 points on the night.  Wyatt Day scored 14 and had six rebounds.  Will Neal made a pair of threes on his way to 12 points.  He also led the club in boards and swipes with seven each.

Jac-Cen-Del also won the JV game 51-50.  Landon Turner scored 15 to lead the Eagle reserves.

We thank Jac-Cen-Del coach Travis Stangland and JCDSports via Twitter for the game information.
