Milan 59, Jac-Cen-Del 47

Milan built a 28-21 lead at halftime Friday and defeated host Jac-Cen-Del 59-47 in an ORVC tilt.

The Indians placed four in double figure scoring led by Adam Norman’s double double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Carsyn Ascherman and Orrin Schmitt both scored 12 while Joel Norman added 10.  Both Schmitt and Joel Norman were two boards shy of a daily double with eight each.  Matt Riehle had team highs in assists and steals with six and three while chipping in four points.

Rebounding was key in Milan’s win as it had a plus-12 advantage overall including six more on the offensive end.

Jac-Cen-Del was led by Brandon Baber with a near double double of 15 points and nine rebounds. Caleb Simon scored 10 points.  Will Neal posted eight points, five rebounds and four assists.

JCD won the JV game 58-46.  The Eagle reserves got 11 points from Luke Comer and eight from Damon Hughes.
