Connersville 37, East Central 17; Greensburg clinches EIAC tie

Connersville- Connersville put on a defensive clinic during a Thursday conference game against East Central. The Spartans held the Trojans to single points in each quarter and won the conference contest 37-17 in the Spartan Bowl.

The win for CHS (4-1 EIAC) keeps its conference title share hopes alive.  EC (3-1 EIAC) remains in contention as well after suffering only its first league loss.  Both are chasing Greensburg (6-0 EIAC) which, by virtue of this result, clinches a tie for the conference crown.
