Milan 67, Rising Sun 59; JV Indians 49-30

Milan lost in a non-conference game at Rising Sun earlier in the season but won the home ORVC rematch, 67-59.

The Indians opened with a 21-14 lead and opened up a 40-21 advantage after three.  The Shiners outscored the hosts by 10 in the final quarter but it was too little too late.

Joel Norman led the Tribe with 21 points and eight rebounds.  Orrin Schmitt scored 15 and had seven boards plus four assists.  Matt Riehle picked up 10 points and logged five assists.  Peyton work had a team-best six dishes and kicked in six points.

Milan had a nice night from the arc making 9 of 21 trifectas for 43 percent.

For Rising Sun, Noah Pflum led with 15 points, Wesley Rider netted 11 and it was Jacob Bovard and Nick Koons each throwing in nine. Wesley Rider topped the team in swipes with four. T.J. Manifold had a team-best five rebounds and added five points.

The Indians also won the JV game 49-30.  For the Milan reserves, Matt Schmitt had 10 points, both Josh Clark and Chandler Retherford posted nine while Bo Wade added eight.  Chase Kuehn paced the RS reserves with nine points. Max Bowne had six.
