Batesville Baseball Celebrating Youth Night and 100 Years

From Batesville Baseball head coach Justin Tucker:

Friday, May 7th, we are asking all Batesville youth leaguers to attend our game at Liberty Park. It is our annual Youth League Night. During this event, we have multiple youth leaguers throw out the first pitch and get introduced with our varsity team at the beginning of the game. We will also be raffling off free t-shirts and autographed baseballs during the game. To end the game, we will provide free schedule posters and autographs for any youth leaguer in attendance.

Are you a Batesville Baseball alum or know anyone that is? We will be celebrating the 100th year of baseball at Liberty Park on Saturday, May 15th before our game against Jac-Cen-Del. In order to commemorate this celebration, our plan is to gather the information for any Batesville Baseball alumni from the past 100 years. Our plan is to have any alumni who want to be honored arrive at Liberty Park by 9:30 am in order to be honored at 9:45 am. We will honor them by having them walk on the field as we announce their name, graduation year, and position. Even if you are not in attendance, we will still announce their name, graduation year and high school baseball position. There will also be t-shirts for sale to commemorate the 100-year celebration.
Please click this link to access the Google Form to complete the information in order to be honored: If you were a Batesville Baseball alum or know anyone that was, please complete the Google Form. Feel free to complete the Google Form for others who may not be able to have access to it. We will share this form on our social media pages. If you see the posts, please share them to get the word out.
We thank coach Tucker for the press releases.
