Athletes Of The Week for January 27-February 8

SEI Local Sports would like to thank our area coaches and athletic directors who took the time to honor one or more of their varsity, junior varsity and freshmen athletes as an Athlete of the Week (AOW). This edition is for the two-week period of January 27-February 8, 2020. Every athlete submitted is worthy and honored as an AOW.

In addition, a committee has selected a group of varsity level AOWs as Elite Athletes of the Week based on the number and quality of varsity level submissions for each gender of both the EIAC and ORVC conferences.

While some athletes participate in sports not recognized as conference sports by the EIAC and ORVC, those athletes are still eligible for Elite AOW consideration under their school’s EIAC or ORVC/Independent affiliation.

NOTE: There is a special Elite category this week called Championship Elite.  Any individual or team submitted which won a sectional or regional title will automatically appear in this category.  The championship itself is worthy of Elite status without any other consideration by our committee.
