Athletes Of The Week for September 9-14

SEI Local Sports would like to thank our area coaches and athletic directors who took the time to honor one or more of their varsity, junior varsity and freshmen athletes as an Athlete of the Week (AOW). This edition is for the period September 9-14, 2019. Every athlete submitted is worthy and honored as an AOW.

In addition, a committee has selected a group of varsity level AOWs as Elite Athletes of the Week.  This special list includes one to three varsity athletes per gender, per conference (EIAC and ORVC/Independent).  The number of Elites selected is based on the number and quality of varsity level submissions for each gender of each conference.

While some athletes participate in sports not recognized as conference sports by the EIAC and ORVC, those athletes are still eligible for Elite AOW consideration under their school’s EIAC or ORVC/Independent affiliation.
