Athletes Of The Week for September 17-22

SEI Local Sports would like to thank our area coaches and athletic directors who took the time to honor one or more of their varsity, junior varsity and freshman athletes as an Athlete of the Week (AOW). This edition is for the period of September 17-22, 2018. Every athlete submitted is worthy of this honor and we are proud to showcase all of them!

In addition, a committee has selected a group of varsity level AOWs as Elite Athletes of the Week.  This special list includes two or three varsity athletes per gender, per conference (EIAC and ORVC/Independent).  The number of Elites selected (2 or 3) is based on the number of varsity level submissions for each gender of each conference.  The number may be reduced if the committee cannot reach a majority decision for a selection.

While some athletes participate in sports not recognized as conference sports by the EIAC and ORVC, those athletes are still eligible for Elite AOW consideration under the EIAC or ORVC/Independent umbrellas.

Congratulations to this group of outstanding athletes selected by committee as our Elite Athletes of the Week for September 17-22, 2018.
