Live/Archived Webcasts
The list of our games follows after these tips to help you easily enjoy live and archived webcasts on SEI Local Sports.
For “live single” games (additional notes for “live back-to-back” games follows)-
- Click on the “Listen” link to the right of the game that is currently scheduled.
- Once on our Audio Sports Online page, it is always a good idea to refresh this page by either clicking the refresh icon in or near your web browser or use the F5 function key.
- After refreshing the page, click “ON AIR” at the top of the page to listen.
- NOTE- if you click “ON AIR” and we have not yet established our connection feed, you will receive an error message. Typically, we will connect 3 to 5 minutes prior to when we plan to start our pregame coverage. The time listed for each game is estimated and could vary based on the length of the junior varsity game played prior. If you receive an error message, please try again in a few minutes. We do try to start as close to the estimated time as possible.
- Media Player will open so you can listen or you will be asked to download Media Player if you don’t have it. It is safe to do so.
For “live back-to-back” games-
Unlike regular season or any other stand alone game, doubleheader games that are back-to-back are done a little differently. You still follow all the steps noted above for “live single” games. However, you need to be aware of the following:
At the conclusion of the first game, it will be necessary for us to disconnect our feed so we can save the first game in the archives. The announcers will tell you prior to disconnecting the time on which they plan to return to start our pregame coverage for game two.
You should close your Media Player once they disconnect but stay on the Audio Sports Online page. At the time stated by the announcers, please click the “ON AIR” button once again to listen to game two.
Should you have difficulty reconnecting, try refreshing your page either with the refresh icon in or near your web browser or by hitting the F5 function key.
For “archived” games-
To listen to an earlier game, click the “ARCHIVE” link BELOW next to your selected game. THEN once on our Audio Sports Online page, click the “ARCHIVED PODCAST” link next to the game in the grid. Archived audio is usually available after 12 pm the day following the live webcast. Note- regular season games are archived for approximately one year. Postseason games are archived for only 60 days per IHSAA rules.
