Greensburg avenges four losses to win 3A Sectional 29

“All of our defensive players did such a great job making adjustments based upon their hitting. Ramirez, Jackson, Rigney, Mary West, Cooney, DeWeese and Anna West again all found a way to save a ball from hitting the floor to give us a chance to score. Cooney’s great decision-making as to whom to set based upon the block across the net was key. Our execution during big points was the best we had performed all season.”

“We believed in ourselves, each other, and the plan needed to be implemented. This is the first sectional title since 1999. I’m so proud of the girls. They played with such determination, heart, and desire to overcome two tough opponents who had beaten them throughout the season. They have so much to be proud of.”
