Batesville co-coach Jody Thomas:  “It was a learning day for the Lady Bulldogs. We played three ranked teams, two ranked in 3A. . If I had to grade us, I think a ‘C-‘ would be applicable.  The teams we faced ran much quicker offenses then what we typically see. We really need to play this competition earlier and more often in order for the girls to see and appreciate where they need to be by the end of the year. In the big picture, though we struggled, our serving was 89.3%. When we could gather our calm, we stayed in system to gain points against good defenses and some very tall, strong blockers.  The fact we can compete and score points means we are in the race.  We just have some catching up to do.

SEI Local Sports thanks coach Thomas for the match information.
