The first time you see a story posted on SEI Local Sports may not be the final version.  In an effort to get you the information quickly, a partial story may be posted.  Additional information may be added up to two days after the event.   Generally, the site is updated twice a day, Monday through Friday, overnight by 6 am and during the afternoon by 4 pm.  Saturday and Sunday updates may be limited to the overnight update.

All stories are grouped on the home page based on the day the event was played.  The code preceding each story gives you the day the event occurred and what sport it is as a quick reference guide.  If that day’s events are no longer on the home page, please check the individual sport page or individual school page.  You may also need to also click on “older stories.”

Also, you may see stories where detailed information was given for one local team but not the other.  SEI Local Sports has encouraged all area coaches to report their results and provide at least some basic details of their games.  Unfortunately, we don’t always get information from both/all schools involved.

Due to the vast number of schools we cover, it is physically impossible for us to contact every coach of every game from every night.  The window of opportunity to reach them is small.  Thus, we rely on the great cooperation of the area coaches to provide us with information either the night of their event or the morning after.  We appreciate those who take the time and make the extra effort to send us information about their events.

If your favorite team isn’t being covered at SEI Local Sports, please ask your coach to report the results to us by using the “Report Results” page on our website.  Again, we want to cover everything…from high school varsity down to rec league.  If we get the information, we will get it posted.

Also, if you have pictures from an event you attended, we will publish a couple with the story.  You can email those to bryce19@comcast.net.  Please make sure the photos include the names of the athletes shown and also include your name so we can give you credit for the picture.
