Webcasts are a great way to listen to your favorite high school teams. Furthermore, SEI Local Sports archives all of its live regular season games which means you can listen to the game, at your leisure, for up to one year after the game originally was carried. Postseason games are also available for 60 days (limited per IHSAA rules). Each live webcast is usually available as an archived file by 12 noon the following day.
To listen to one of our games, live or archived, click here or on the “Live Webcasts” menu button on the left side of any page. On our webcast page, click the game you wish to listen to. You will be taken to our webcast partner Audio Sports Online.
Once on the ASO site, you will see our menu of games and, again, click on the game you wish to listen to. A Media Player box will open or you will be asked to download one if you don’t have it. Media Player will carry the game stream audio.
Please make sure you refresh your browser by hitting the F5 key each time you visit the ASO page and use the F5 key during a game if the audio feed freezes. If the situation does not resolve itself, close out the ASO site then repeat the steps above. An additional help link can be found on the ASO page.
Our sportscasters typically open up the mics to the game link you will click on approximately five minutes before the pregame show is scheduled to begin. Most webcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of the contest unless otherwise noted.
If you join the game within five minutes of the start of the pregame show, you should hear some crowd noise and an occasional announcement updating you on when the webcast will begin. If you join the game prior to our sportscasters connecting to the link, you will either hear music or silence.
Whether you listen to our games live, archived or both, we thank you for your patronage. Please tell your friends and family about our site. Wherever they may be around they world, they can listen to our games whenever they want.
