Floyds Nobbs- Four local boys swim teams competed in the preliminary round of the Floyd Central Sectional Thursday. The following is a summary of the local swimmers who advanced out of the preliminaries and qualified (place shown) for the sectional finals on Saturday.
Those who placed in the top eight of an event will compete in the championship heat Saturday. Those who placed ninth through 16th will compete in the consolation heat.

200 Medley Relay:
- Championship heat: 3rd Jennings County and 6th Madison
- Consolation heat: 9th Southwestern and 12th Switzerland County
200 Free:
- Championship heat: none
- Consolation heat: 9th Zach Andis of Jennings County, 11th Mikhail Cole of Switzerland County, 13th Mitchell Swafford of Southwestern and 14th Sean Brink of Madison
