Paoli- The South Ripley Lady Raiders entered Saturday’s Class 2A Paoli Regional with a purpose. After being on the short end of blowout semifinal losses at the regional each of the previous two seasons, coach Brian Samples crew was looking to change that.

Shelbyville- The matchup was a testament to the success of two girls 1A basketball programs as Jac-Cen-Del and Clay City met for the third time in as many seasons at the Southwestern (Shelbyville) Regional Saturday.
