On Saturday, March 31, Jac-Cen-Del played a pair of opponents at Providence.
Against Clarksville, the Lady Eagles’ Morgen Carroll pitched a perfect game in a 1-0 JCD victory. Facing the minimum 21 batters, Carroll fanned 15.
The Eagles only had five hits of their own but put pushed across the game’s only run in the first with Emily Adams. Morgen Carroll had the team’s only double. Shelby Groth singled and sacrificed.
Scoring was not an issue in game two as Jac-Cen-Del outgunned Providence 14-9. Reagan Carroll had four hits including a pair of doubles and two RBI. Morgen Carroll and Groth both had three hits with a double and a ribbie. Karlee Wolfe recorded two hits and two runs batted in.
JCD threw four pitchers with Groth earning the win.
