Rising Sun- In girls minor league softball action Tuesday in Rising Sun LaValle’s Tax Service held off Siekman Law Office 12-9 and the Rising Sun Medical Center beat a shorthanded Willhite Family Dentistry team 15-2.
In the opener, it looked as if LaVelle’s was going to walk away with an easy win leading 9-1 after the second inning and 12-3 following the third. However, Siekman rallied for six runs in the fourth to make it interesting but could get no closer as LaVelle’s went on to win by three, 12-9.
Lauren Caswell had a four hit game including one triple and she scored three times. Caroline Stapleton singled and doubled for Siekman.
