Rising Sun- Rising Sun’s boys Little League started tournament play Wednesday. Willhite Family Dentistry and the regular season league champion ORVCOMM.com both won to advance to the finals.
In game one, Willhite Family Dentistry broke a 1-1 tie with Mayor’s Youth Council in the second to go up 7-1. Willhite went on to win 9-2.
Jakob Sandlin was a triple shy of the cycle as he homered, doubled, singled and scored once for Willhite. Sam Baxter had two hits in the final game of the season for MYC.
