Edited meet summary from Connersville coach Joann Borders:

It was exciting competition. Columbus North and Northwestern had great skills and good routines. Richmond came in with determination to beat us.  We did not hit vault and bars like we needed to, but Ali Sargent, Katelyn Burris and Allison Hoffman performed well on the beam to help us stay in the competition against Richmond for 3rd place. Then Hoffman, Burris and Whitney Owens put in strong routines to help us score .075 higher than Richmond. Sectional competition is going to be tough.

CHS seasonal bests:

  • Vault- Allison Hoffman 8.775
  • Beam- Ali Sargent 8.475, Katelyn Burris 8.6, Allison Hoffman 9.025
  • All-Around- Allison Hoffman 34.25

SEI Local Sports thanks coach Borders for the invitational information.
