In exhibition matches,
Caroline Grote and Reyna Ortiz lost 2-6 in a doubles set.
Briseida Reyes lost 0-6 in a singles set.

Coach Hill: “We had to make adjustments in the line up due to an injury suffered by our number 2 singles player, Katrena Gobert, in our match the night before. This did hurt us a a team tonight no doubt, but Charleston has a talented team with a winning record. I am very proud of Kate Grote for hanging in there for 3 sets and winning her match. I also felt that our # 1 doubles team tonight played well overall taking a senior doubles team into 3 sets and losing in a 3rd set tiebreaker. We definitely have things we need to continue working on individually and as a team, but I think tonight’s match was a good learning experience for our players.”

Shawe girls tennis is now 10-1.
