Shawe coach Steve Sims: “I am very proud of our team for their performance. We battled a very tough team and were able to come out victorious. Katrena and Megan Hill had the toughest battles. I am extremely proud of their efforts. Katrena lost the first set and was down 2-5 in the second set.  She came all the way back to win the second set 7-5 and put away the third set. Megan Hill started the match down 0-3, stormed back and never quit.  As a whole, we do not quit, and that is refreshing to see as a coach.”

Shawe JV results:

  • Cayden Hambrick won 8-6
  • Caroline Grote and Destiny Stivers won 4-1 and 4-2
  • Kelly Hesse and Chloe Le won 4-3 and 4-1
