Greensburg/Brookville- Lawrenceburg’s freshman girls basketball team scored back-to-back EIAC road wins this week at Greensburg and Franklin County.
On Monday, the Tigers defeated the Pirates 25-6 as Paxton Parris led the LHS with eight points.
Then on Tuesday, Lawrenceburg beat the Wildcats 20-17 which was the same result from the first meeting. The two clubs swapped leads throughout the physical contest. Each team had players out due to illness and/or injury.
The Sampson twins combined for 18 of the Tigers’ 20 points. Megan had 12 and Emily scored six. Casey Larson and Kathryn Rennekamp each added a free throw.

The ninth grade Lady Tigers and Wildcats will meet for a third time on Saturday at the EIAC tournament at East Central. Game time is 9 am.
