Batesville- The 2011 Ripley County cross country meet was held Thursday in Batesville. South Ripley won the boys title and Batesville claimed the girls. The Raiders’ Zach Raab became boys county champ with a time of 18:26. The Bulldogs’ Hannah Lehfeldt won top honors for the girls with a time of 23:49.
Boys team scores: South Ripley 32, Batesville 35, Milan 75 and Jac-Cen-Del 91.
Girls team scores: Batesville 19, Jac-Cen-Del 49 and Milan 79. (South Ripley incomplete.)
