Boys Varsity Tennis- Monday, September 17

Rushville 3, Shelbyville 2

Rushville’s Hollis Heuer- “We felt like we got a lackluster performance from a couple of our guys last time out and we reminded them the season is long way from over. They got back on track in time to come home with a solid win over a traditionally tough opponent. Sam Smith at #3 singles for the Lions provided the heroics for the evening nailing down the win after splitting the first two sets. Smitty left it all on the court and came back to win his match in a third set super tie-breaker.”
