Oldenburg coach Ken Getz: “Greenwood was dropping 6 and 7 guys behind the ball the entire night. We struggled with this, especially in the first half. We changed our formation for the second half which seemed to free our other attackers up as we got some better looks.  Even though we went down 2-0, we seemed to have some momentum. Then we got the PK and we were right back in it. I thought that was the break we needed.  We have been a second half team all year but the clock ran out on our season before we could answer.”

Edited message to the OA players from coach Getz.  “I am very proud to have been your coach this year and very proud of each of the 30 boys on this year’s team.  We relied on each of you.  Well done.  As we were saying our goodbyes after the match, you could see what this team meant to all of us. We really are one big family. We finished with a record of 13-4-1 and a #5 ranking in the state.”

SEI Local Sports thanks coach Getz for the match information.
