Centerville- At the Centerville Class 1A Boys Soccer Regional Thursday, Batesville was upset by Heritage Christian in a 2-1 overtime heartbreaker.
Neither team scored in the first half. Ian Prickel of Batesville and Willie Nguyen of Heritage Christian each found the net during the second frame. But it was Kevin Yang’s goal in extended play that was the difference maker.

The Bulldogs conclude their season at 11-6-1 while Heritage Christian improves to 9-7-2 and will meet up with Centerville in the regional final on Saturday at 1 pm. The host Bulldogs (8-9) won 3-2 over Morristown (8-8-1) in a match that went to penalty kicks.
The winner of the Centerville Regional will face the Switzerland County Regional winner at the Evansville Central Semistate. Down in Vevay Saturday at 4:30 pm, a hot Shawe team, winners of five in a row, will take on 16th ranked Lawrenceburg.
