Aurora- South Ripley’s eight grade survived a slow start in the first half Thursday and outscored host South Dearborn by 14 in the second half to win 36-24. The Squires led 16-14 at the break. Good defense in the second half keyed the Raider comeback.
South Ripley was led in scoring by Elijah Roepke with 12, Derek Ritchey and Wyatt Elston both carded eight points, Julian Carpenter had six while Caleb Cumberworth put in two.
