Switzerland County scored the game’s first six points before North Decatur’s Cameron Adams hit a trifecta to get the Chargers on the board.  Teammate Evan Smith hit a trey moments later to cut the Pacer lead at 8-6, but Switz carded the final eight points of the period to hold a 16-6 advantage at the stop.  South had 10 points in the quarter. Six came on a pair of arc busters during the quarter closing run.

Coach Kyle Nobbe’s Chargers came back big time scoring the first 14 points of the second stanza to go up, 20-16.  Garrett Wood started the run with a traditional 3-point play then Cameron Adams personally scored the game’s next 11 points with nine points coming on long distance dedications.  Meanwhile, the Charger defense was stifling, holding Switzerland County scoreless for the quarter’s first six minutes.

Down by four, South connected on two triples while Damian Breeck added a third as part of a 9-0 Pacer run to give the Vevay boys a 25-20 lead.  But it became 25-22 at the half as North Decatur’s Craig Adams hit a shot at the buzzer.  South scored 16 in the first half for Switzerland County while Cameron Adams logged 14 to head the North Decatur effort.

The teams traded the scoreboard’s top spot five times in the third quarter. The Chargers took their largest lead of the game, 36-31 on a Craig Adams trifecta. Coach Adam Dennis’ Pacers answered on a pair of free throws by South and a trey by Breeck to even the score at 36 through three periods.  Cameron and Craig Adams scored six and five points respectively in the quarter for ND.  Breeck bucketed seven for Switz.
