Game notes: Lawrenceburg led for most of the first quarter until East Central went ahead 13-11 near the end of the period.  Lawrenceburg led by 13, 30-17, with about 3 minutes left in the second quarter, but East Central reduced its deficit by halftime, 32-36.  The Tigers went up 17 with 3:30 to go in the third, 51-34, and held a 53-44 advantage at the stop.

In the fourth, LHS was up 58-48 with 5:27 to play in regulation. EC battled back to force overtime, 66-66, on two Jared Volpenhein free throws with 0:25 left.  The Trojans took a 3-point lead in the first overtime and were up two with 0:14 remaining.  The Tigers’ Gavin Yoon hit a shot as time expired to send the game into a second extra session all square at 71-71.

East Central scored the first seven points of the second overtime and outscored Lawrenceburg 16-8 through the period to win 87-79.

Lawrenceburg’s Gavin Yoon had a double double with 24 points and 10 assists.
