Batesville- In a second round game of the EIAC boys freshman basketball tournament, Batesville won at home Wednesday with a 40-22 decision over Greensburg.
The host Bulldogs took advantage of a 15-4 start and maintained a sizable lead throughout the game also leading 21-9 at halftime and 32-18 after the third.
Blake Walsman and Evan Blanken led Batesville in scoring with 15 and 14 points respectively. For Greensburg, Austin Hayden had nine and Josiah Buell posted eight.
Batesville will host East Central in the championship game tonight (Thursday).
