Jac-Cen-Del 21, Shawe 3

In varsity baseball Wednesday, Jac-Cen-Del defeated Shawe 21-3 and outhit the Hilltoppers 10-5.

The Eagles’ Dustin Herbert, though, had the only multi-hit game for JCD with three (including two doubles) and also drove in three runs.  Connor Toops batted in four, Michael Flint had 3-RBI.  Two ribbies each were recorded by Dylan Swinney, TJ Menchhofer and Miles McAdams while 1-RBI each was logged by Logan Drockelman, Cameron Gehl, Damon Hughes, James Burford and Alex Crum. Flint pitched four innings to earn the win and struck out eight.

Additional unedited information from Shawe coach Geno Pawlak. Brayden Sedam started on the mound and took the loss allowing 9 runs 2 earned in 3 innings.  The Hilltoppers scored 3 runs on 5 hits.

Cazden Nott was 2/3 with an RBI. Nate Pawlak was 1/2 with a walk and 2 RBIs.  Brayden Sedam, Chandler Cole added a single each and Mathew Binzer had a double.
