BATESVILLE ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Athlete’s name: Jacob Koehne
- Level/Sport: Boys Track and Field (St. Louis School)
- Athlete’s year/position: 8th Grader

- Submitter’s position: Track Coach
- Athlete’s accomplishments: Jacob is a triple-threat! He has set personal bests as a sprinter, long jumper and hurdler.
- Submitter’s personal comments: Jacob is an athlete the entire team looks up to and, beyond that, he is amazing at encouraging the other track athletes. He leads our pre-meet prayer often.
Athlete’s name: Sarah Poltrack
- Level/Sport: Girls Track and Field (St. Louis School)
- Athlete’s year/position: Distance Runner
- Submitted by: Hilary Carvitti
- Submitter’s position: Head Track Coach
- Athlete’s accomplishments: Sarah is and has been our top distance runner on the girls team since last season. Sarah has been giving her all this season, as usual, and has several ribbons already to show for it. Keep it up Sarah!
- Submitter’s personal comments: Sarah is always concerned for her team even though track and field can be very independent with personal goals set to be achieved. Sarah cheers on her teammates and works along with the other distance girls during races.
